Living in the Republic of Congo

The Republic of Congo is one of the few countries seeing its foreign-born population edge down, off 1% over the past decade. About 377.2K residents were born abroad — 6% of the population — the largest group, some 168,400, from neighboring DR Congo. The country remains a modest net destination, taking in more than the roughly 231,000 Congolese who live overseas, most of them in France.
