Living in Ivory Coast

Côte d'Ivoire's arrivals come overwhelmingly from one neighbor. Of its 2.8M foreign-born residents — the most of any country in Africa — 1.8M were born in Burkina Faso, the product of long-running labor migration into Ivorian farms and cities. The foreign-born population has grown 10% over the decade, and with the largest immigrant count on the continent, the country is West Africa's central magnet for movement.
